(? - ) US corporate executive and author whose first romantic Space Opera series, the Sun sequence beginning with Too Close to the Sun (2003) features Aliens whose interstellar practice it is to abduct members of intelligent species, subject them to total Memory Edits, and sell the bodies off. The second volume, Dark Side of the Sun (2014), is a quest tale whose McGuffin is the protagonist's father. The Night Slayer sequence beginning with Out of the Night (2005) is horror (see Horror in SF). The Immortals sequence beginning with The Darkening (2003) involves the protagonist with Vampires in New York. She is attracted sexually by one in particular (see Sex). [JC]
