(1952- ) Australian scriptwriter and author, generally in collaboration with John Thomson (1953- ), with whom he has adapted his Young Adult Television series, the first being the Tomorrow sequence: The Girl from Tomorrow (1990) adapts The Girl from Tomorrow (1989), and Tomorrow's End (1991) adapts the same show's second season Tomorrow's End (1991), both novels being written with Thomson and both concerning a young girl from the future kidnapped and sent back to the present day of 1990 in a Time Machine, where she has experiences.
Both authors also collaborated on the two Spellbinder sequences: Spellbinder: Rianna's World (1995) and Spellbinder: Paul's World (1995) are Tied to their co-created television series Spellbinder (1995), while Spellbinder 2: Land of the Dragon Lord (1997) and Spellbinder 2: Lost Between Worlds (1997), both also with Jill Wayment, are tied to the sequel series Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord (1997). Both series, set partly in Australia and partly in various Alternate Worlds or Parallel Worlds, have a wide range of Technologies and Inventions on display, along with Robots and imaginative Weapons.
