(1946-2025) US screenwriter, producer and author who wrote The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Meet Dracula (1978) with Glen A Larson, a crossover between two Stratemeyer Syndicate series – The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew – which also invokes the Vampire eponym of Bram Stoker's Dracula (1897; rev with cuts 1901). This novelizes a two-part 1977 adventure with the same title from the Television series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (1977-1979), written by Larson and Sloan, with the three teenaged investigators following a trail leading into the supposed Dracula's Castle rock festival in Transylvania.
Sloan also wrote and through his own company produced The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen Years Later Affair. (1984) (see The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and had further script credits for three television movie crossovers between The Six Million Dollar Man (1973-1978) and The Bionic Woman (1976-1978): Return of the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1987) directed by Ray Austin, Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1989) directed by Alan J Levi and Bionic Breakdown (1994) directed by Ray Austin.
