Twin teenage brothers Bo (Cameron) and Abe (Fratkin), humanoid Aliens from the planet Crouton, are supposed to secretly attend Cambridge University, UK; instead they land in California and travel around, learning more about Earth and having romantic relationships with as many human women as possible. Initially crash-landing in a junkyard, they salvage a Communications device with which they contact their parents from time to time, and obtain a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette automobile. They are pursued by two inept US Air Force officers throughout the series: Lieutenant Colonel Tom Barker (Royal) and Lieutenant Pat Wilson (Carroll); the US government has previously captured a pair of Croutonian twin sisters (apparently all Croutonians are born as twins) and so is aware of the aliens' existence. The brothers possess several Superpowers such as the ability to communicate with animals by Telepathy and on occasional to move at incredible speed. Essentially a teenage comedy with sf elements, the series proved a failure and ended after one season. It is available online and as a home video release. [GSt]
