(1979- ) Australian author and editor who began to publish fiction of genre interest with "Well 51" as by M Nikolai Chrulew in the Fanzine The Rhizome Factor for April 2001; further stories have appeared in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Aurealis, Three-Lobed Burning Eye and various other magazines and anthologies. Fiction in book form comprises the sf novella The Angælian Apocalypse (2010 dos) [see Checklist below]. Chrulew is the editor of Phase Change: Imagining Energy Futures (anth 2022), an Original Anthology interestingly exploring the future of Power Sources; contributors with entries in this encyclopedia include Paolo Bacigalupi, Eugen Bacon, Greg Egan, Rosaleen Love, Nick Mamatas and Cat Sparks.
