Working name of US author Lonnie Lief Hoklin (1946- ) used for a Time Travel novel, The Hourglass Crisis (1987), about an attempt to ensure the restoration of the Third Reich (see Hitler Wins for a short discussion of Alternate Histories in which similar recoveries are launched).
As John Gideon, Hoklin is the author of several horror novels which verge toward (though they do not reach) sf. [JC]
