(1970- ) US author, daughter of Steve Perry, who has also written as Stephani Perry; in her career to date she has specialized in Ties for various universes. Her contributions to the Aliens universe begin with Aliens: The Female War (1993) as Stephani Perry with Steve Perry; her Resident Evil novels – tied to the Videogame set in an American town dominated by the Umbrella Corporation whose experiments have created various kinds of Mutants, including Zombies – begin with The Umbrella Conspiracy (1998); and to the Star Trek universe with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Avatar Book One (2001). Singletons include Timecop (1994) and Wonder Woman (2009), which novelizes the Wonder Woman (2009) animated film (see Wonder Woman Film/TV) centred on the DC Comics character Wonder Woman. [JC]
