(? - ) US musician, editor and author who began publishing work of genre interest with "Animal Fires" in Fairy Tale Review: The Transcendent Issue (anth 2017) edited by Benjamin Schaefer. His first novel, This Weightless World (2021), is set initially in 2012 Chicago, just after SETI research has broken the news that a Communication has been received from an Extraterrestrial civilization from another star. But this First Contact has minimal effect on a troubled world racing towards a tsunami of Climate Change and other Disasters, except upon the protagonists of the tale, who do not transform the world. The tale to this point is, therefore, in a sense, nonfantastic; it is certainly not set in an Alternate World. The second strand of story in This Weightless World is, however, fully sf, being set in the distant Near Future on a Starship whose crew is escaping from (but somehow hoping to save) a terminally damaged Earth.
