(1965- ) US editor and publisher associated since 1987 with Baen Books, initially as an editorial assistant and rising to the position of executive editor; partner of founder Jim Baen until his death in 2006 and since then the publisher at Baen Books, effectively continuing that imprint's traditions (including but not confined to Libertarian SF and Military SF).
As T K F Weisskopf she has edited and co-edited a number of Anthologies, beginning with the reprint compilations Tomorrow Sucks (anth 1994) and Tomorrow Bites (anth 1995), both with Greg Cox and respectively having Vampire and Werewolf themes. Her first solo Original Anthologies, making up the Cosmic Tales diptych, were Cosmic Tales: Adventures in Sol System (anth 2004) and Cosmic Tales: Adventures in Far Futures (anth 2005).
In 2016 Weisskopf received the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association's Kate Wilhelm Solstice Award (see SFWA Grand Master Award) for lifetime achievement in the sf field. [DRL]
