Of sf interest is the Captain Ah-Lee sequence assembled as Star Messenger (omni 2011 ebook), featuring a tough female protagonist, captain of a "single-ship" in a Space Opera galaxy who finds herself fending off threats to humanity as a whole. With David Weber she has written some offshoot titles in his Honor Harrington sequence featuring a Hornblower in Space female protagonist, and her crew and associates and opponents, beginning with Fire Season (2012). Artemis Awakening (2014), beginning the new series Artemis, is a Planetary Romance. [JC]
