(1981- ) US editor – often in collaboration – of several popular essay anthologies dealing with genre authors and productions, beginning with the King Kong-related King Kong Is Back!: An Unauthorized Look at One Humongous Ape! (anth 2005) with David Brin. This was followed by a similar treatment of Star Trek in Boarding the Enterprise: Transporters, Tribbles and the Vulcan Death Grip in Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek (anth 2006) with David Gerrold and Robert J Sawyer; the subjects of further such titles include Batman, C S Lewis's Narnia books, the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins and the Divergent sequence by Veronica Roth [see Checklist below].
Wilson should not be confused with the Canadian Leah Wilson whose debut novel Fealty (2023) is a dark-fantasy romance. [DRL]
